The Three Hands of a Clock
A clock has three hands.
The second hand moves the most, yet it is rarely mentioned.
We say, “It’s 7:10.”
Never, “It’s 7:10 and 4 seconds.”
Yet without those seconds,
the minutes and hours wouldn’t move forward.
Life is much the same.
There are people in our lives who may never receive the recognition they deserve, but quietly, consistently, they help us move forward.
They may not be in the spotlight.
They may not be mentioned in our success story.
But their support, guidance, encouragement, or sacrifices may have played an important part in where we are today.
Not everyone who matters gets mentioned.
Some simply help us move forward.
So today, pause and remember the “second hands” in your life.
And if you can, let them know that their presence matters.
घड़ी की तीन सुइयाँ
घड़ी में तीन सुइयाँ होती हैं।
सेकेंड वाली सुई सबसे ज़्यादा चलती है, फिर भी उसका ज़िक्र सबसे कम होता है।
हम कहते हैं, “7 बजकर 10 मिनट हो गए।”
कभी यह नहीं कहते, “7 बजकर 10 मिनट और 4 सेकेंड हुए हैं।”
लेकिन उन्हीं सेकेंड्स के बिना
मिनट और घंटे आगे नहीं बढ़ सकते।
ज़िंदगी भी कुछ ऐसी ही है।
हमारी ज़िंदगी में भी कुछ लोग ऐसे होते हैं,
जिन्हें शायद वह पहचान या श्रेय कभी नहीं मिलता जिसके वे हकदार होते हैं।
वे सुर्खियों में नहीं होते।
हमारी सफलता की कहानी में उनका नाम शायद नहीं लिखा जाता।
लेकिन उनका साथ, मार्गदर्शन, हौसला या त्याग
हमें आगे बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
हर महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति का ज़िक्र नहीं होता।
कुछ लोग बस हमें आगे बढ़ने में मदद करते हैं।
आज ज़रा ठहरिए…
और अपनी ज़िंदगी की उन “सेकेंड वाली सुइयों” को याद कीजिए।
और हो सके तो उन्हें यह एहसास भी कराइए कि
उनका होना आपके लिए मायने रखता है।
