Usually, there are many moments or time when I felt completely out of place

It is mostly during a formal event or financial discussions.
Being an introvert, I struggle to find common ground or contribute to the conversations. It seem as though everyone else speaks a language that I don’t understand or contribute.
To cope with the situation, I try to observe and listen attentively, hoping to gain some valuable insights and identify potential areas where my skills could be of assistance.
Though I feel out of place, I soon realize that this experience is an opportunity for personal growth. It remindes me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new environments, even if they initially make me feel uncomfortable.
Feeling out of place in a gathering is common for everyone of us & can be challenging, but there are a few strategies you can try to make the most of the situation:
- Take a deep breath and relax
- Observe and listen
- Find common ground
- Ask open-ended questions
