I called, but you forgot me.
I waited, but you overlooked me.

I am a child.
I copy,
I imitate,
I attempt,
I mimic.

But-

I remain original.
I learn from you,
I learn from all.
I am raw. 

You mould me,
I am ready.
You give time to me,
I have efficiency.
You explore me,
I am not a product.
You develop me,
I may create.
You change me,
I may excel.

You improve me.
You have opportunities,
You train me.
You have brought up me,
You prepare me.
You have experience,
You make way for me,
You have light.

I am innocent,
Keep me like that.
I am weak,
You give me your hand.
I am fragile,
You support me.
I am your future,
You are my present.
I am a carrier,
You are to pass on.

I am not a target,
I am essential.
I am not extra,
I am part of your ocean.

I am a child.
I am to fulfil the gap.
I am to replace with time.
You may not ignore me.

Give me a charge,
I may steal the shows.
I may create history.
I may prove my worth.

My almighty,
I have interests,
You guide me.
You are my real mentor.
