When going gets tough..!

How to CALM yourself when life is getting tough.

  • WALK :
    Walking helps clear your mind & offers you a different perspective.
  • INDULGE :
    Take a day off to spend a whole day doing exactly what you want.
  • BE GENERIOUS :
    Give something to a total stranger. Acts of giving make us feel warm and fuzzy inside.
  • DO NOTHING :
    Sit in a coffee shop or a busy street and observe your surroundings. You don’t need to talk to people.
  • EDUCATE YOURSELF :
    Learn & Arm yourself with knowledge and the resources to tackle the problems head-on.
  • PREPARATION :
    Write the day’s To-Do list the evening before.
  • KNOW YOUR STRENGTH :
    Write down a list of your strengths and be aware.
  • MOVE FORWARD :
    Keep taking small steps, no matter what. Being stagnant doesn’t serve you.
  • RE-VISIT AN OLD HOBBY :
    Get involved in your favorite hobby , If you dont’ have one, create one.
  • SET PRIORITIES :
    Decide what’s important right now. Say no to extra obligations.
  • SLEEP ENOUGH :
    Get enough rest, sleep 7 to 9 hours each night.
  • BE SILLY :
    Don’t take life too seriously, Do something that is silly & Fun for you.
  • CRY :
    Release it all, You will feel better.
  • SELF-TALK :
    Check your self-talk. Negative self-talks does not help you.
  • JOURNAL :
    Develop a habit of journaling. This will help free your mind.
  • LIFE IS A JOURNEY :
    Remind this to yourself. Remember that what you are going through is temporary, It shall pass.
